ROYAL KINGSTON CURLING CLUB WELCOMES YOU!
REGISTRATION: Each curler must fill out an information page (front page of package) for the office. Although your information may have been submitted in previous years, it is easier for member data input to be accurate if current information is available. Please submit the Membership Application/Card of Intent sheet no later than September 9, 2009. Indications are that RKCC membership will remain strong and it is important to get membership numbers to our various sections as quickly and accurately as possible. In some cases, such as Men's Flight, the date stamp on your application may be used to fill space for league play - get yours in at your earliest convenience.
New members must submit their forms by September 25th at the latest in order to ensure a place in the starting draws. It is worth noting though, that RKCC is always looking for new members and anyone joining the club after the 25th will still be able to curl.
Please direct specific curling-related inquiries to the Section Chair or sub-section Chair as indicated.
On the Card of Intent, please each relevent page provided to indicate all of the sections in which you intend to participate as a player and/or spare.
OPENING CURLING SOCIAL REGISTRATION: The social bonspiel is open to members and non-members, and will be held on Sept. 25, 2009. Please complete the entry form and return with your Membership Application/Card of Intent. Confirmation calls will be made after Sept. 23rd. We realize that the clinics run until September 24th, and that some new curlers may decide they want to take part after the 23rd ... we will accept curlers right up to the event start on the 25th, and accomodate as best we can.
1st annual SWING AND SWEEP REGISTRATION: The Swing & Sweep is a tried and tested calendar event for many local curling clubs, and a 1st for the Royal Kingston! It will be open to all members and their families, and will be held on Saturday Sept. 26, 2009. Please complete the entry form and return with your Membership Application/Card of Intent. Confirmation calls will be made after Sept. 21st.
PAYMENT OF FEES: Fees are payable in full by October 1,2009 and cover a yearly membership at RKCC. We accept cheques, or will process on a debit card at the club - we do not accept credit cards for membership dues. There is a $25 charge for late payment. Payment terms are available on request. Pro-rated refunds are not available unless approved by the Board of Directors and requests are assessed on an individual basis. Half-season memberships are available at 60% of the applicable fee.
RESIGNATIONS: If you are not renewing your membership, please return your Membership Application with a note as to reason or contact the Club Manager. This will assist the Club with membership administration.
