We are hoping to offer the ActivPass again in the 2024-2025 season. RKCC in partnership with Kingston Gets Active (KGA) plans to host Grade 5 and Grade 9 students for curling sessions on the third Sunday of each month between October, 2024 to March 2025. Check back here in late September 2024 for the updates.
Registration for Sunday sessions will be required for ActivPass participants by filling out this form. Please indicate what date(s) and the number of participants along with you contact information.
Curling sessions will include:
- On-ice instructor volunteers to help you throw your first stone!
- Broom and slider equipment
- Access to facilities including change rooms.
NOTE: Participants under the age of 12 are required to wear a CSA-approved helmet. While a few helmets are available at the club for use - there is currently a limited supply.
What is the ActivPass?
The Grade 5 and 9 ActivPass gives students FREE access to recreation facilities at designated times.
From September through August, grade 5 and 9 students in public and private schools in the greater Kingston area can use their ActivPass. To access facilities, Grade 5 students show their physical activity pass, which they receive at school, and grade 9 students show their student identification card or an ActivPass, which can be picked up in their school office.
